Simply , this skill adds accuracy and mastery .

A simple calculation of damage with Mastery :

Given an item :

Str 100
Dex 100
WeaponAttack 100
Mastery 10% ( Default )

The Weapon Damage would be : 100 ~ 500

However with an item of the same stat but added Mastery :

Str100
Dex 100
WeaponAttack 100
Mastery : 100%

The Weapon Damage would be : 460 ~ 500

See how big the difference ?
Mastery will help to balance your range of damage .

One of the best skills forHero to add . Isn't about the damage returned , it's the damage recieved (:
Returning 40% you recieve 60% . Might think it's still a big portion ?

ZakumBody3 : 9k/10k damage
After PG : 6k/7k

Now comes choosing your weapon :

My point of view is , Axe is a better one .
